I have a 23 year old son who has completed high school, trade school and is now going to a community college for education. He does well except in math which has always been a problem. He reads anything. He has diffculty finding and keeping a job due to his ADD. He does take medication and sees a therapist. He did work as an aide in two schools while working for AmeriCorp.(a government job) and was successful. Where can he go to get work, preferably with a government agency. Is there an agency or agencies who can help him find work. He is able, computer literate, a reader, etc? He is looking in Phila.,Pa. and Boynton Beach, Fla. thank you |

Hi Sheil99.... My son ( who is 30 ) has ADD and has worked in a wharehouse for the past 10 years. He loves the job and also racks up as much overtime as he is offerred. He now makes over $ 20.00/hour and owns his own home. He and I feel that his success at his job may be a result of his ADD, as his productivity levels surpass all the other employees. Good luck !!
