Question ID: 700687
My apartment is being bugged by a remote microphone.
Would like to hear suggestions as to ways of putting
an end to this. Their seems to be constant echo and faint feedback.
Is it possible to counter this by using similar accoustic tricks or by other
means.
I know that just by using a micophone to feedback a persons breathing
can produce certain effects. Is it possible to provoke an effect
that can trick the processing of thoughts to make the person think
that thoughts are being fed, or broadcast, back as if from a distance
creating an inside-out effect?

The first paragraph is answerable. It's possible to neutralize the
remote person's ability to listen to you.

Your second paragraph is too science-fiction-ish, and I don't wish to
go there, although the idea does make me smile, it's gas-lighting
plain and simple... You want him to think he might have entered the
Twilight Zone...

If you want, I can answer giving you information about how to make the
remote listening device ineffective, and not adress how to gaslight
the listener..
