It is a simple game played on the Atari 800 XL, and I believe it had 7
stages/rooms and the name of the only one I remember is "Vault". That

BBBB = Beam that moves side to side and bounces when it hits the wall

The background was black and the walls and beams were yellow.

I think your telling about the game name "rat" or some like "DB rally"

Is there a good place to view screen images for Atari XL games?

I did a whole lot of looking, and it COULD be this game

Now the object of that game isn't t escape, so I looked on. With your
Color description it could be "Ollie`s Follies" just because the
objecive is to get to the top of a room, but I found NOTHING on
beams... So I search on. You also have "Axis Assassin" Exact same
colors and Yellow beams... but you shoot baddies and you don't escape.

its going to take alot of looking cause I looked through about half. I
figure your best bet is to see it yourself for the game memory may be
a bit lose.

No it isn't any of the games suggested in this thread, although I
really appreciate the efforts to help! I wish I could provide more
details about it, but it has eluded me for so long now.
