i need a list of the top 1000 companies in terms of how many phone
calls a day they get from consumers (not from businesses); i know this
might be difficult to find, but what is the best you could do for
this?

You should try contacting your local Center for Business and Economic
Development. They will probably have a general idea or can point you
to more local resources.

But that's what I'm asking you guys to do... :)

More info-- I'd like an authoritative source for top 1000 (or 500)
consumer companies. If too hard to measure by number of phone calls
per year, how about just by number of customers.

I'd like the list in a spreadsheet with company name, phone number,
and website address.
