Trying to find a jewellery company I saw featured in a magazine
recently, unfortunately magazine passed on. Name was Wedgewood or
Wedgwood and all stones shown were blue, presumably pieces of
Wedgewood china but not sure. Can you trace it please?

Hello there

WEDGWOOD jewellery was first produced 200 years ago and was enormously
popular in the 18th century when cameos were produced for pins,
pendants, broches etc. Most of the classical reliefs applied today are
reproductions of original 18th century models, and there are several
online sites selling the jewellery, most of which originates from the
Wedgwood company

They launched a new range in 2002 "blue. by Wedgwood Jewellery" which
retails from £45-125 and offers a range of necklaces, pendants,
bracelets, earrings, earrings, brick and oval cufflinks etc. It may be
that this was the advert you saw, as it was extensively plugged
worldwide.

They have an international website for buying their products at "The
International Wedgwood Website"  ( http://www.wedgwood.co.uk )

There is also an online store for "Wedgwood Jewellery", which has
pictures of of pieces of Wedgewood embedded in brooches, earings and
pendants and could be what you are looking for, as I have seen this
adverts in magazines myself. You'll find it at this site, (
http://www.chinaetc.co.uk/wedgwood/patterns/jewellery/classiccollection.asp
)

Hope this all helps

Willie

Thanks for your help. I have used all the links you have given me but
still cannot trace the jewellery I saw in a mag recently. All the
links give me very trad designs whereas what took my eye was very
modern, basically plain squares or rectangles of blue (china?) pieces
on a chain to form necklace or bracelet etc.

Over to you;if you have done all you can or are supposed to do, just
let me know if poss.
Thank you.
Sue Reynolds.

Thank you but that is still not the one I saw in the magazine
recently. I will now give up. It may well turn up again soon in
another publication.
