Bought a used car from a dealer through phone calls and email exchange. I signed the contract "AS IS", paid all and then noticed a major defect never mentioned by the dealer. The car is almost undrivable however he described it as "perfect, drive like dream" and confirmed "no problem I need to be aware of" It's a '99 car and does not have manufacturer warranty. I have been contacting the dealer to either get the problem fixed at his cost or return it but no response. I don't mind to go to court but questions are: 1. Based on the situation, what's the possibility I can win? 2. I am in VA and the dealer is in FL. What is the process? 3. Do I need a lawyer for the problem? Need answer within 2 days. Thanks for your help. |
