Getting Iraq contract as freelance video cameraman.
How do I get a contract to be sent to Iraq as a video cameraman and/or
reporter for one of the western news organizations.

While ABC anchorman Bob Woodruff and cameraman Doug Vogt were wounded
the catastrophe in Iraq needs covering and so presumably includes
danger pay commensurate with risk.

If terms and conditions are just right it could be a two-man unit.
How do I get in for a 3 - 6 month contract?

Obviously one could just send resumes to a dozen media companies but
this is a real question.

You would first need to be certified insane.

Does that present a problem?

G'day PB,
You have a way with words. A 1977 William Friedkin movie, sometimes
entitled Wages of Fear is instructive.

G'day Garth

Everything is explained!

I recall the 1953 original:

Le Salaire de la Peur

Of course, being in French, I couldn't understand a word.

C'est la vie!
