Where? In the United States? In the world?

If you're looking for household information, you may have to settle
for stats on income and geographical distribution.

Statistics like age or occupation are collected for individuals, but
not for households (how "old" is a four person household?).

Also, I suspect you're asking about the US but, as noted above, it
would help for you to confirm this.

Can you clarify how we can best help you?

Thanks,

Great observations. I am indeed talking about the US. Stats and info
on geographic distribution are fine. I would also like to find out
what the age distribution of these people are.

The US Bureau of the Census has a reports page.
http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/income/reports.html
There is much information, maybe too much. This would be a great place to start.
There is also a question and answer page:
https://ask.census.gov/cgi-bin/askcensus.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php

Unfortunately the way they view statistics they may not be able to
give a straight answer. They look at averages and medians. Hope this
helps.
