I am searching for information on the maximum number of people the
earth can support. I need to know the assumptions on which estimates
of this are based. I am particularly interested in knowing the number
that could be supported given the current rate of consumption of
resources, and the number that could be supported given more efficient
uses of resources. Please provide citations to studies.
