I need to know the highest market share for Unilever's Aqua Net
hairspray, prior to 2001. My guess is that this would be sometime in
the 1980's. I have figures for 1998 (6.6%) and 2001(4.4%).
Basically, what is the highest market share that Unilever's Aqua Net
Hairspray had obtained and in what year. |

I was actually looking for something a little earlier, when their
market share was higher. The information is going in a report and I
wanted to show a dramatic shift in consumer motivations, the hair
spray example is one of them. Would it be possible to get an earlier
market share figure? Ideally, I would like to show the highest market
share that Aqua Net had obtained and in what year that was.
Thanks so much.

Also, one more thing that I noticed. This is a consumer preference
study, asked only of women. Those figures are not actual market share
numbers.

marketingevolution,
I'll see what else I can find. But don't worry if I don't.
This question is still open and hopefully another researcher will be
able to locate the exact information you require.
