This question has caused a lot of debate in the misc.transport.road

There are several possible answers, depending on your point of view.
The highest answer given in these discussions is 15000 South in
Riverton, UT. But it appears that the streets are numbered by 100s,
so that would be the equivalent of the 150th street in a system where
the streets are numbered by 1s.

Another possible answer is 10272 in Fairfax County, VA. But that is a
numbered highway, which seems to be different from a numbered street.

There is a claim of a 6750th Street in Hartford, MI.

However, a search on Mapquest shows that 6750th is just another name
for 67 1/2th.

A better answer seems to be 1010th Street in Eau Claire, WI. While
the streets do not appear to be numbered consecutively, they are at
least not numbered by 100s as in the Utah example.

So far as I can tell, 1010th St. is the best answer. If that answer
does not satisfy you, you might peruse the misc.transport.road
postings and try out the best candidates in Mapquest.

I hope that this information is helpful.

Re davidsar-ga's two comments:

Good finds!

Actually, if you go further west in River Falls, you'll get to 1251st
St.

Search for: 1251st River Falls WI
Mapquest
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?location=JSl5%2fuMVXf%2bPPrCPxMC9sPkxz0eKo3nlu6RETUQrE6vrIRxDQFXRLAU4c8NoutwsqXpgboEnnttMVka0vv1wzaE8T7yFXisjsunU5%2by5QFw%3d&address=1251st&city=river%20falls&state=wi&zipcode=&country=US&addtohistory=

There is a W 15080 S in Riverton on Mapquest, though it's not listed
on MapBlast! or Yahoo! Maps, and you can find it only by searching for
15000 on Mapquest and then going south on the resulting map. So I'm
not sure of its actual status.

I realize from looking at the map again that the numbers in Riverton,
like the ones in Eau Claire and River Falls, don't progress by 100s,
but by varying intervals. So, perhaps 15000 (or 15080) is a better
answer than I originally thought.

There's a 1031st Street in River Falls, Wisconsin (a town inordinately
fond of high street numbers). You can check out the street map at:

Wow...there's also a street oddly named W 15080 S in Riverton Utah,
(not far from W 14865 S) which sure doesn't look like a "100's"
numbering system.

This might well be the winner!

I was going to reference the Usenet discussions if justaskscott
didn't; that's the best place to look.

The Cleveland, Ohio, area could compete for the title of biggest
system of numbered streets for a city. Cleveland's numbered streets
extend from West Third to the West 230s and from East Second to the
East 360s. While not every number has a street, there are at least 500
numbered streets in the system, which extends 25 or 30 miles.
