I was watching this anime that is called Fantastic Children (English
translation of Japanese) and in it was a quote that one of the
characters said was from "Hesse" which I supposed to be Herman Hesse,
but that could be incorrect so please keep this in mind. Here is the
quote:
"I'm wandering and burning in the desert of human life, and I'm
suffering under this heavy burden. But somewhere, there is an almost
forgotten flower...I know that there is a garden somewhere under cool
shadows. Although it is so far away, like a dream...I know that this
resting place is waiting for me, for sure. Our spirit is holding the
place of our birth again, where slumber, night, and stars are waiting
for me."
If this is from a poem then the lines might be separated differently
than how I have written.
I hope someone can find where this is written (book, essay,
collection--whatever. And where I could find it/buy it)
Thanks! |
