the bible does hint at Paul being married but no one has been certain. i have no idea about the other question. anything else you need to know? |

In response to your question no. 1) Neither the Bible nor the Talmud specifically mentioned that a Pharisee had to be married. 1) As far as I know, the bible doesn't mention any requirement about pharisees having to be married. 2) Paul was NOT married. 1 corinthians 7:8-9, the apostle paul says: [KJV] 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. |
