how do I open a ppp file that I have been e mailed microsoft dose no
reconise it ..it is an attachment

Unless this email is from a trusted and known source, I would
assume it to be a potential virus. It certainly won't hurt to
save the attachment to your hard drive and scan it with an
antivirus program.

My first reaction is: ask the person that sent it to you to resend in
a common format (pretty much anything can be put into PDF format using
Ghostscript/Cute PDF)....

I too looked it up in filext.com....likely a Serif Page Plus doc or a
Punk graphic...the filext site will tell you what to use to open those
(the Serif file would need Serif to view it...I haven't located a
universal viewer)....
