there are many proxies out there.
you can use a proxy that runs on your local computer, but you can also
use one of the many free web proxies. some examples are
http://tntproxy.com http://liteproxy.com and http://antiwebfilter.com
These will let you bypass internet restrictions ( firewalls) and login
to Myspace from school, play games from work ect. The only thing that
is hard to find with free proxies is SLL support.
Unless you need a SLL connection i would use the free ones.
If you need SLL ( or simply have to much money ) you can go for
services like http://anonymizer.com  and http://proxify.com -> This
last one also has (limited) SLL support.
