Hello, I want to write an application like encarta@conversagent.com. I do not need artificial intelligence. I want this application gives the certains answers for certain questions. About this application, I need information on 3 things. 1.Which Platform/Development Environment/Programming Languages Info, I need? What is alternatives. 2.Is there any documents/source code about this topic on net/msdn, etc. 3.What the possible difficulties, I will come accross. Thanks. |

1/ Encarta@conversagent.com was created... by a company named Conversagent. You can use their Software Development Kit to develop your own agents for free. It works with all the major IM networks, and you can also deploy an agent on a web page. 2/ Their SDK comes with a documentation and a quick start guide including a tutorial. 3/ It depends on the nature of your project. The main challenge is to spend your time on the questions people will actually ask your agent. On a web page, you mostly "push" information to the user, so you have more control of what the user sees. With an interactive agent, the user is in control and "pulls" information, so you need to anticipate the questions. |
