I am insterested in setting html format e-mail templates in Lotus
Notes version 6.5.2, so I can use this template (putting the images in
a server online when necessary) everytime i need to send email to
people with a proper identity image.

There is an option to create templates but doesn't look like they
support html (as the signature does). Do you know how to do it?

Once this is done, the html signature for instance, is not receive in
email clients properly. Seems like lotus is transforming html code.
How could I use html templates in lotus and make the receivers get the
email with the proper html format.

Have you considered posting your question on www.notes.net?

This maybe too simplistic for your needs, but have you tried just
using the 'insert picture' option in the Notes client. I created a
table in Notes, 'insert a picture' in the table and put a fake title.
I sent it to a hotmail.com account, and it came out just fine.

Finally, you can create emails with 'pass-thru html' i.e. create some
html as pass-thru - but it will only work via smtp if your smtp mail
server is setup to route mail as converted HTML (set in the
configuration document). It really depends on your organizations mail
topology.

Hope this info helps!

First, thanks for the time and suggestion about notes.net
----
The email we are trying to send has "styles" and tables with different
cells. The problem is that when we modify it directly through the
lotus client (like you've done probably) or we import the html file,
when we proceed to send it, lotus behaves like removing cellpadding
and cellspacing tags, for instance, and cells look awful. The html
file is sent, but does not keep the look and feel.

About the "pass-thre html", we can not work with the smtp for this
project. not at this stage

Thanks one more time and hope to hear any other suggestion from you.
