Question ID: 703131
I am looking for information on changing the dictionary that MS Word
uses in its AutoCorrect feature. I would like to be able to install a
new or different AutoCorrect dictionary, with the option of having
several dictionaries if possible.

Also, can someone recommend a good book or website that has
information of this sort?

Any help anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response and input. Actually, I don't think these
websites are helpful. They contain information on changing the Spell
Check dictionary. I'm looking for information on changing the
AutoCorrect dictionary. On MS-Word, if you go into AutoCorrect, you
see a list of words with the associated mispelling, or the associated
code for that word. This is the word list I want to change.

I hope this clarification helps. Thanks for the response.

Hi,
You can try the following link:

http://www.kerryr.net/webwriting/tools_custom-dicts.htm

This helps you to create a custom dictionary for specific countries,
for example, instead of using English(US) you could you
English(Australian). If that is what you are looking for.
Hope this helps.
