I am getting married in France in June 2006 and would like to rent a
luxury convertible for 8 days. There seem to be relatively few
options and the prices I have found are quite high.
The very best rate I have found is ?1027.72, including all fees and
mandatory insurance and 1,200 km free, for a Mercedes SLK convertible
from Sixt.
I will pay the first person who enables me to succeed in renting a car
(a) of the same quality or better, (b) for the period and location
stated, and (c) at a price (inclusive of all fees and insurance) of
less than ?850.
Details:
Location of rental: Toulouse airport, France
Date of pick up: Sunday 18 June 2006, around noon
Date of return: Monday 26 June 2006, around noon
Some examples of convertibles I would consider to be around the same
quality or better: Mercedes SLK, Mercedes CLK, BWM Z3, BMW Z4, Audi
TT; I am no expert in cars but there are many other cars I would
happily consider.
I am only interested in a convertible. I have no preference between
2-door and 4-door. I would prefer to have a manual ("standard")
transmission and air conditioning but these are not absolutely
mandatory. I expect to drive a relatively short distance (certainly
under 1,200 km) and expect this distance to be included in the price,
as it is in the Sixt example. The car must be in good condition.
I will only pay the one person whose advice most directly leads me to
a successful rental. In the end I have to be convinced that the car
is nice enough and everything associated with renting it easy enough
to actually decide to rent the car in order to pay. If for whatever
reason the information is not sufficient to enable me to actually
proceed with the rental car found by the researcher, I will consider
the question unanswered.
If someone finds me a significantly better savings than I have
specified OR a much nicer car at the same price I will consider paying
a bonus, entirely at my discretion.
Many thanks. |
