I know how to remove a single hyperlink from a Word document:
-you notice a hyperlink
-you right-click on it
-you left-click on "remove hyperlink"

But everyday, I have to work with a brand new document that contains
about 40 hyperlinks, and removing them one-by-one is a pain.

Is there a way to remove all hyperlinks at once (maybe in a macro)?

Hello rambler-ga,

Thank-you for your question.

I have researched this question for you and there are two commonly
suggested macros to solve this problem. Most of the solutions
available are variations on the themes contained in the links below.

These can be found on one page here:
http://www.infocellar.com/software/word-remove-hyperlinks.htm

An alternative solution and excellently described can be found here:
http://www.vbaexpress.com/kb/getarticle.php?kb_id=748

If you require any assistance as to how to write the macro in Word
please ask for clarification and I will try to reply as soon as
possible. It will be helpful to know what version of Word you are
using.

The first link's Macro #1 worked perfectly for me.
Thank you!

Another easier way is to highlight the entire document by pressing
CONTROL + A. Once the document is selected, press CONTROL + SHIFT +
F9. The document will be converted to text, and the hyperlinks will be
removed.

Rainbow

Just to clarify my answer, the solution rainbow-ga has come up with is
detailed on the second link mentioned above and is indeed another way
of solving the problem.
