I want to enter a number in a calculator and divide it my four or five
differnt numbers and get the results for each division with out
re-entering the the amount to be divided...is that possible?

calculator is a Sharp desktop rather large type model is old and is a
EL-1196 it has 4 different M keys and MU key...I am not sure about any
of that

Can't find details of your specific calculator, but looked at details
of similar ones.

The keys you may need are:
M+  <- add to memory - I suspect it works the same as on the windows calc
<>M <- symbol looks like a diamond, then letter M (first Recall Memory Key)
*M  <- first recall and clear memory key

So I would guess that you turn on the calculator, enter the number to
divide, press the M+ key to store it.  Divide by 1st number, press =,
then try <>M to get the stored number from memory to divide by 2nd
number, etc.

If the above aren't what is on the calculator, it might be called MR
(memory recall) - as on windows calc.
