I believe "Tetris Techno Remix" is what you are looking for. Does this sound right? |

Well, since this is the computer forum and the date is between 98 and 02, I'm led to believe that it may be Tetris Worlds: http://thq.com/tetrisworlds/main.html. However, it may have been available before then. Why, exactly, do you need this specific version of Tetris? |

I really liked the music... it was extremely catchy techno. And I'm pretty sure it isn't Tetris Worlds... I would have remembered if it involved alien species... Also, "Tetris Techno Remix" is a song, not a game. A good song yes, but not what I'm looking for. |

I see... it does appear that Tetris Techno Remix is a game but only a couple sites list it as that. I doubt that would be the one I'm looking for as the game I had was a pretty short title... but if I could find that particular game I'd try it anyway. |

Never mind, it was some strange fault of a specialized search engine, it picked up the song as a game title. :P |

Tetris - Dr Spin Remixes Is that what you are looking for? It's actually a single, a remixed version of the theme tune licenced from Nintendo and released in Europe. It even cracked the top 10 charts in the UK in 1992. Published by Polydor/Carpet Records. Cover: http://www.discogs.com/release/263517 http://www.gametrax.net/albums/071000/index.html Tracklisting: 1 Tetris (7" Mix) (3:40) Producer - Nigel Wright 2 Tetris (12" Mix) (4:48) Producer - Nigel Wright 3 Tetris (Hardcore Mix) (5:25) Producer - Nigel Wright Remix - Steve McCutcheon 4 Play Game Boy (3:28) Producer - Robin Sellars Track #3 on the CD (Hardcore Mix) has a techno beat similar to Dune's Hardcore Vibes, although it's not the same and it's not quite as intense. Available on ebay http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?satitle=tetris+spin You'll also find more info at mobygames. Hope this is what you're looking for. |

Not quite what I was looking for, but thanks for checking! Great music it be. The version of Tetris I'm looking for is definitely the game, it just happened to have some really good background music is all. I believe there were around 10 tracks on the game cd. |
