As mentioned in a comment below by my friend and colleague Juggler,
this is the question that Mos Def asks Bruce Willis:

"Imagine you are driving through a severe hurricane and at a bus stop
you see three people: a dying old lady, your best friend and the love
of your life. You only have room in your car for one person. Who do
you pick up?"

According to a friend of mine who recently saw the movie, this is the
answer given by Bruce Willis:

"You give your car keys to your best friend, who takes your car and
drives the old lady to a hospital. You stay behind with the love of
your life."

I hope this is the riddle that you had in mind. Please let me know if
this fully satisfactory, and I'll be glad to repost it as your
official Answer.

That is the answer that I was seeking - I recently saw 16 Blocks and
in the early part of the movie Mos Def's character (Eddie Bunker)
poses that question to Bruce Willis' character (Jack Mosely) and then
toward the end of the movie as the two characters are going their
separate ways Jack answered Eddie's question and I would be extremely
surprised if very many people in the audience even caught that what He
was saying to him was the answer to the riddle that he was quizzed
with at the early part of the movie - Thank you so much for providing
me with the answer as I knew that Jack Mosely was responding to
Eddie's riddle but I didn't quite catch his answer - Thank's again,
Dennis

I'm glad to have been able to help you with this. I obtained the quote
from a friend who saw "16 Blocks" last Friday. Fortunately, his memory
was fresh enough that he was able to provide me with the info.

In case you're looking for online confirmation, I've found a relevant
thread on the Internet Movie Database messageboards. Only registered
IMDb members can read the posts there, so I've extracted this excerpt,
in case you are not a member:

"You are driving a car in a hurricane and come to a bus stop. At the
stop there is an old lady, that's dying. There is your best friend who
saved your life, and there is the girl of your dreams. You only have
room for one. Who do you take?

* * *

You give the keys to the car to your best friend who drives the old
lady to a hospital. You stay behind with the girl of your dreams."

Perhaps another researcher can find Willis' answer and post it as the
official answer, but the question is apparently:

"Imagine you are driving through a severe hurricane and at a bus stop
you see three people: a dying old lady, your best friend and the love
of your life. You only have room in your car for one person. Who do
you pick up?"
