Are you just looking for correlations to extrapolate length by width, or are you hoping to estimate body size or some other characteristics? This is a fairly well documented field and there is much material available (although not necessarily directly accessible online): There is a fairly widely referenced paper here: Gingerich, P.D 1976. Predictions of body mass in mammalian species from long bone lengths and diameters. Contributions from the Museum of Paleontology, University of Michigan, 28: 79-82 Nature has a paper here with a formula for calculating body mass based on limb length and/or diamter: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v433/n7022/extref/nature03102-s1.doc http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=6619724&dopt=Abstract http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/FAE/CBR2003AJPA.pdf If you can be a bit more specific exactly what you're looking for then I might be able to pull something together.
