Mazda of USA sells the Mazda 3 built in Japan and sold in the US and
in many parts of the world. I noticed that other markets, such as, the
United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and New Zealand offer genuine Mazda
roof rack accessory that is not available in the USA. My question is
if I bought a roof rack part number of BP4KV4701 from Australia or New
Zealand and had it shipped to me in the US would this imported roof
rack fit on my US sold car without modification? My concern is the
roof anchor points that may be different from country to country and
is an integral part of the Mazda roof rack system. I don?t have
readily visible anchor points on my Mazda 3, but they may lie below a
black trim piece that does not have pull away access tabs to anchor
points.

My Mazda is a 2006 Mazda 3 Wagon (or 5 door) without a sunroof - it is
built for and sold in the US market.
