Question ID: 704447
Is there a way to tell which short-cut keys
I have assigned to which macro?

Ideally, I would like to list all short-cut keys on the left,
and the corresponding macro name on the right.

Is there a way to do this?

Rambler,

You can get your key assignments from the Print dialog, which is
available by choosing Print from the File menu. The Word Print dialog
includes a dropdown labelled "Print What". One of the choices is Key
Assignments. This will print out your keystroke assignments.

See if this helps you:

To print out a list of all shortcut keys, do the following:

1. click 'Tools' menu, then 'Macro' option then 'Macros' option.
2. click 'Word commands' in the Macros in box.
3. click 'ListCommands' in the Macro name box.
4. click on the 'Run' button.
5. click 'Current menu and keyboard settings' in the 'List Commands' dialog
box.
6. click OK.
7. click 'File' menu then 'Print' option.

Nope, those ?Word Commands? that you mentioned are the built-in macros
that come with MS Word.

(Fascinating stuff, though, all those handy short-cuts that I never
knew existed! I?ll be spending hours looking at them, so I thank you
for that!)

However, to see MY macros, I can?t click on ?Word Commands?. I have
to click on ?normal.dot? and, when I do, there is no indication of
what short-cut keys I have assigned.

How can I generate a list of MY macros along with their assigned short-cut keys?
