Hello and thank you for your question. Birth Certificates are obtained at the City Hall where the person was born. French public documents such as birth certificates (Extrait de Naissance) for persons born in France may be obtained from the Office of the Mayor = City Hall (La Mairie) at the place of birth. http://www.amb-usa.fr/consul/guideoas/fpdoc.pdf This is Chantillys Website which is presently under construction http://www.ville-chantilly.fr/ I located a copy of the City of Chantillys Website through the Wayback Machine. On the left side of the page, I clicked on La Mairie which is City Hall. http://web.archive.org/web/20010926015924/http://www.ville-chantilly.fr/ Here is the contact information of Chantillys City Hall. La Mairie de Chantilly 11, avenue du Maréchal Joffre BP 60 11960 501 Chantilly CEDEX Tèl: 03 44 62 42 00 Fax: 03 44 62 42 59 I located this information as well. City Hall of Chantilly Mairie de Chantilly 60500 CHANTILLY Phone: 03.44.62.42.15. Fax : 03.44.57.00.18. Président : Monsieur Eric WOERTH (Maire de Chantilly) http://www.umo.asso.fr/structures_intercommunales.htm Search Criteria: ://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=birth+certificate+office+in+france ://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=Mairie+de+Chantilly I hope this answers your question!
