Hi Dawsonjg,

This isn't a complete answer but may help one of the accredited Google
Answers specialists. The following page from an Ayn Rand Objectivist
related site references several published letters by John Dawson.

http://www.4cybernet.com/HonorRoll.htm

"October 12, (Australian) The Age
October 14, Perth (Australia) Sunday Times
                     October 21, (Australian) Herald Sun
November 25, (Australia) Sunday Herald Sun
                     December 6, The Australian
                     December 10, The Age
December 31, Time Magazine (Australian Edition)
                     January 1, The Age (Australia)
                     March 17, The Age (Australia)
                     April 28, The Age (Australia)"

http://www.aynrand.org/medialink/actofwarletters_dawson.html

contains a copy of a letter by John Dawson dated August 21, The
Bulletin [Incorporating Newsweek]

The Ayn Rand institute apparently receives a $50 donation for any
published letter to the editor reflecting its Objectivist viewpoint.

I hope this helps.
