Dear agausling,

When I tried to examine the "Citra Elec Store" website, I found it in
a state of decay; it is an utter ruin, and the few accessible remains
do not look trustworthy at all. This is the first suspicious point: An
actual, reputable company would certainly not simply watch their
website tranform into debris without doing anything against it.

There is, of course, more evidence that "Citra Elec Store" is a scam:

- The official Indonesian database of registered companies [1] does
not list any company of that name. The company does not exist. This
alone would already be proof enough to show that "Citra Elec Store" is
a fraud; but there is more:

- According to the ownership record [2], their Web domain
"citraelecstore.com" was registered by one Farhan Saleh, Jl. Gajah
Mada No. 18, Medan 21554, Indonesia. That is clearly a fake address
because the postal code is wrong. The actual postal code of that
street address is 20112. Certainly no actual, reputable company would
register their domain using a fake address.

- That clearly fake address was also used as the alleged company
address, as the company profiles at the business-to-business websites
Commerce.com [3] and Exporters.sg [4] show. A legit company would not
purposely provide a false address.

- In their company profile at Commerce.com, they claim "Citra Elec
Store has been experienced more than 9 years since 1996". However, in
those alleged 10 years in business, the company has left hardly any
traces on the Web, which is more than suspicious. Also, their domain
"citraelecstore.com" was registered only on 20 December 2005. An
actual company would certainly not wait 9 years before registering
their company name as a Web address.

- Finally, the domain will already expire on 20 December 2006. This is
typical for online frauds: The scammers use "disposable" domains which
they register for only one year. As soon as the domains are not any
longer of use for criminal activities, they are simply abandoned.

The conclusion must be that "Citra Elec Store" is a scam; I recommend
not to do any business with them.

Best regards,
Scriptor
