Hello Niceusa,

Thank you for your question.

Electricity can be produced by burning "municipal solid waste" (MSW)
as a fuel. MSW power plants, also called waste to energy (WTE) plants,
are designed to dispose of MSW and to produce electricity as a
byproduct of the incinerator operation.

“The term MSW describes the stream of solid waste ("trash" or
"garbage") generated by households and apartments, commercial
establishments, industries and institutions. MSW consists of everyday
items such as product packaging, grass clippings, furniture, clothing,
bottles, food scraps, newspapers, appliances, paint and batteries. It
does not include medical, commercial and industrial hazardous or
radioactive wastes, which must be treated separately.”

I want to know which company want to sale or transfer "MSW power
plants technologies".

Clarification of Answer by bobbie7-ga on 02 Oct 2002 00:00 PDT
Thank you for your clarification request.

According to the following excerpt from the WHEELABRATOR TECHNOLOGIES
doing Business webpage, they transfer or sell their technology.

“Among the services offered “Design-Build-Own-Operate” Full service
project development including private financing, plant design,
construction, plant ownership and operation..”

Wheelabrator Technologies Website – Doing business
http://www.wheelabratortechnologies.com/business.html

According to the following excerpt from Barlow Projects, they also
seem to transfer their technology.

“We can assess and evaluate your existing Waste-to-Energy facility and
develop an in-depth proposal for upgrading or retrofitting your
facility with modern combustion and pollution control equipment to
insure that you will meet all State and federal compliance standards.”

Barlow Projects, Inc. - Waste to energy solutions
http://www.barlowprojects.com/120000.htm

“EarthFirst Technologies Incorporated is a publicly traded company
engaged in the research, development, and commercialization of
technologies for the production of alternative sources of fuel and the
destruction and/or remediation of liquid and solid waste.”

EarthFirst Technologies

I hope this helps.
