Does this happen all the time or only when you send an attachment?
Also does this happen with everyone you send a meesage to or just a
select few?

"Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express sends duplicate emails when
Norton AntiVirus email scanning is enabled

Situation:

Norton AntiVirus 2002 or 2003 (NAV) is installed and Email Scanning is
enabled. When you enable the Automatic Send feature within Microsoft
Outlook 2002 or Outlook Express 5.0/6.0 and send email, duplicate
emails are sent."

[edit]

"As a workaround, you can either disable the automatic send feature
within Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express, or you can disable the
Outgoing email scanning feature of NAV email scanning.

To disable the automatic send feature in Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0/6.0:

1. Start Outlook Express 5.0/6.0.
2. Click the Tools menu, and the click Options.
3. Click the Send tab.
4. Uncheck Send messages immediately.
5. Click OK.

To disable outgoing email scanning in NAV:

1. Exit any running email programs.
2. Start NAV.
3. Click Options.
4. Click Email under the Internet section in the left pane.

I don't see an "Answer Box" anywhere to let you know that the second
fix to uncheck the 'Send Immediately' box in Outlook Express did it!
Thanks much!!!!!!!
