I am looking for academic lighting research centers and lighting
product testing laboratories in the United States.

From my research so far:

1. I know about the Rensselaer Lighting Insitute and its Lighting
Research Center, I am looking for others. Also not interested in
company-owned lighting research centers.

2. I have heard there might be such centers at Penn State and
possibly the University of Nevada.

3. I am also looking for a product testing laboratory/center that will
test my lighting product (a LED lighting panel) for performance
(lumens output, efficacy-
lumens per watt, photometrics, etc.), so it doesn't have to be for UL
or Energystar testing.

I am from New Jersey, so locations closer to the Northeast would be
preferable, but I would still be interested in knowing of such places
in other areas of the US.

As many relevant places as can be found, as I will be contacting these
places for pricing estimates and potential R&D agreements afterwards.

Thanks.

You'll probably get several good responses here: http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/

I'd try the LED or General Light Discussion forums.
