I know of many herbal/alternative medicines to anxiety and depression,
but when searching online, I've encountered only one shake, on which I
have no further knowledge (safety, effectivity). Would you like to
hear about other alternative medicines instead?

No natural herb drink has been proven by the FDA to fight anxiety and
depression. For these types of things I suggest to see a doctor for
help. The new age medicines are always trustworthy and some have been
proven to work becuase you believe they will (which means you just
paid a bunch of money to think positive.)

If your problems are due to chemical imbalances then medication will
be needed. If it's emotional then counseling is advisable, but
they'll probably try to get you to take some meds to even you out.
Think really hard when you're about to take depression medication
because you can come dependant and it may worsen your state. So if
you're on your last leg, by all means go for medication and
counseling, but if your case is mild try and survive on counseling if
you can.
