It seems the cost is much less than $500.

Oh dear, it sounds to me that you are in a 'Russian Bride' scam.

It might be an idea to check the Email headers, you'll probably find
that they come from Nigeria.

I've been to Ghana a few times on business, some years ago, the people
are rather corrupt, but basically very pleasant - and some of the
girls make Naomi look like a washer woman.

You would probably be better off going on a supervized 'xxx tour' and
selecting your own - the danger with Email is that males masquerade as
dames.
