My question is regarding Home Automation and Sensor Networks. I would
like some information on Zigbee, applications used (heat sensor,
alarms, others?) as well as who provides these specific applications,
and I would like to you to address the following
questions:

1. What are the challenges/difficulties in using a sensor network for
this application? Have they been solved or is more work needed?
2. What are the requirements of the sensors in terms of energy
efficiency, cost, etc?
3. What are the advantages of using a sensor network for this
application (e.g. cost savings, it could not be done any other way,
etc.)?
4. Do you think the market is ready for this application, or is this
more futuristic?
