I am looking for a specific type of telephone.

It needs to have both a corded handset to the base station with a
seperate digital cordless handset / charger base. It also needs a
digital answering machine on the base station with at least 60 minutes
record time. Both base station and handset require Caller ID display.
I also need to have different ring-tones dependant on the number
called (I have serveral numbers diverted to this single land line).

Needs to cost less than 200USD.

Revised amount 250USD / 150GBP

Forgot to say that I am in the UK so the item must be from a UK
supplier. I would consider this question 'answered' once I have
recieved the phone from the supplier. i.e. I need to find the phone
and a place that has it in stock that takes orders over phone /
internet.

Once I get the phone, if I like it, I will 'tip' the difference
between the phone /delivery cost and 225 USD :)

Thanks for the suggestion - may have resorted to that if I could not
find what I am after. I have compromised on the recording limit and
will buy one of the below.

Will now close question.

I believe it is going to be very difficult to find the phone you are
requesting. Could you consider -

Phone Jack in Wall
Phone line out from wall to Desk.
At the desk at the end of the phone line, use a duplex plug. With a
duplex plug you can plug two phones into the same line that goes to
the wall.
On one side of the duplex jack connect a corded phone and tur off the
ringer volume.
On the other side of the duplex jack buy the base phone, cordless with
digital answering machine and the fancy ringtones with caller ID.

Based ont eh ring tones and caller ID you can decide to either pick up
the corded handset phone or the non corded handset phone.

This idea may be a good back up if no one responds with your exact
requirements. By the way, did you know that the 900mhz phones, the old
models actually transmit further away than the newer ones? The newer
ones may sound a bit more crisp, but you can't walk out to your
mailbox with the newer higher mhz ones like you could with the older
900mhz phones. Just a little factoid for you.
