In the USA, I would like to know estimates for the percent of
pregnancies that are thought to end in miscarriage and the percent
that end in abortion. Please provide data for how many abortions are
conducted each year in the USA (last 20 years) and the corresponding
number of live births in these years. Please provide a couple links
so the credibility of the sources can be assessed. Thanks.

Hi kengo,

I think this link is exactly what you need. No idea who the person is
who compiled all the data, but he asks people to email him for exact
sources, and his source page looks promising:

Sources for abortion statistics

Here's the data:

Historical abortion statistics, United States
compiled by Wm. Robert Johnston
last updated 4 March 2006
http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/ab-unitedstates.html

Hope this helps!
