Can you please give a few more details on your hardware and your exact
requirements so that one of the researchers can help you here?

It is unclear as to what exactly your problem is (this may require
more time and effort from a researcher than a $5 question allows).

My comuter is a compaq presario. I have very little computer
expertise, but am more than happy to pay $20 for an answer. Basically
I just need to know wheteher I should be able to simply 'switch on'
-or whether I need to load some software.

I think that we have not enough info about your system (Operative
System, etc.) but if you are using Windows XP I strongly suggest you
