Howdy flupox14-ga,
Make sure you have the drivers for your old video card before you try the
following please.
- Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, System
- Go to Hardware, Device Manager
- Select Display Adapters, then "right click" on your current video card
- Click on Uninstall
Once the uninstall is done, go through the power down of your computer.
Unplug the computer, install the new video card, and see if that makes a
difference. If the old card is a PCI card and the new is an AGP card,
you might have to activate the AGP slot through your BIOS settings.
Report your results back here if you would, please. Thanks!
