What are the most commonly used type of taxi-cars in the UK (in
percentage of total taxi-cars preferably) ? E.g. Toyota Avensis: 33%,
Volkswagen Passat: 24%, Hackney Carriage: 18% (yet this is an
example... i have made up the stats my self!). I'll be needing some
official/formal source, so I can refer to it in an essay.

The Skoda Octavia is now being widely used as a taxi, here in Brighton
and elsewhere.

Skoda has made great efforts to grab a big share of the business,
offering (I believe) 3-year, unlimited mileage warranties. Great for
taxi drivers.

The new Skodas have benefited from VW technology and are MUCH better
than earlier models of bad joke fame.
