My home computer is set so when a dialog box appears the arrow is
already over the default button. Where is the settings for this
feature? I want to do the same for my work computer. *both are WINDOWS
XP*

Hi mark800,

First, check your mouse software. For example, mine is a Logitech and
here is how I would enable "the cursor to jump to the highlighted
button of a new dialog box":

Mouse Properties / Motion / Enable Smart Move

If you don't have that option, you can edit your registry, but please
do so carefully.

To edit your registry go to Start / Run / type: regedit.exe
and follow the directions at the following link.

Enable/Disable Snap To Default Button
This forces the cursor to always jump to the default button of any
dialog or alert that opens.
