I was recently hired to do some light editing on an existing video. The DVD master itself was something authored in a program known as "Super Powerpoint". I haven't been able to find any information about this program. I have found programs that convert powerpoint presentations to DVD's, but that is not what I need. Instead, it is like all other DVD authoring systems in that it takes in clips and offers some sort of very, very simple menu system and plays a background image behind the video itself. Please help! |

If the "PowerPoint" has actually be converted to an mpeg video stream (full motion movie, perhaps necessary for the "super" transitions), you should be able to "rip" these videos from the DVD by using a product known as Cinematize 2.0 from a company called Miraizon. Jusy Google it. This will convert the unreadable dvd files to mpegs, quicktimes, or other formats which you can then use with your editing program. There are other programs available as well, some freeware or shareware. Try www.videohelp.com. Best, Brien Lee www.videostory.com |
