I have an hp zt3300 laptop with windows XP already insalled when I
bought it. I am trying to install translater software to this computer
so that I can translate Chinese to English. Is there an upgrade or
something else that I can do to make this software work? My friend has
the identical software on her computer in China with XP and it works
fine. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks...Loren

You would need to check up Regional Settings in Control Panel to allow
Chinese language support.

Also you could try google online translation tool. Its in BETA but you
could give it a shot. Here's a link for it:

Hi~~there are two things may help you...
1.if your laptop can't display Chinese, then open control
panel>>>>>open Regional and Language Options>>>>>then Choose
"Languages">>>>>>click "Install files for East Asian languages.and it
will be ok....
2.if you just want a tool to translate Chinese, there is a software
called FastAIT(made by Chinese company) I've one,but I don't know how
to send it to you.

Hi,it's Cecil again....the above software I've mentioned is not very
helpful, and it's not convenient to send it to you.
and I just searched another software more helpful than the old, this is the URL:
 http://www.tengxun.net/old/software/ewaydemo.rar
after re-rar it,run the setup.exe file, and then go to the "crack"
directory,double-click "ccid9999.reg",then you can use it.(I just run
it,exellent!!)
if this would be helpful to you, please let me know it.Thank you~~

besides,if the setup file can't display well, you should follow the "1"
to install East Asian Language sopport.
Thanks again.

If you can't install the translation software, open control panel
---Regional and Language Options----Advanced-----change English(US) to
Chinese(PRC)---and click OK.then restart and install it again, and
it'll be OK.
