There's a quote by a famous Nazi about how he used scientists' lack of
thought about the application of their research to exploit them for
the gain of the Nazi's. I would like the quote & the name of the
Nazi.

I've noticed that at least four other researchers have locked your
question, then released it later unanswered, so I assume that none of
us have had any success yet.

It might help if we knew where and when you read this quote. The more
you can tell us, the better. Sometimes even a tiny clue can lead to an
answer.

I read this quote on the back of an ACM proceedings or magazine back
in 1995/96. (ACM is the Association of Computing Machinists, ie the
Computer Scientist Association).
