Hello!

I am looking for a list of about 10-12 Venture Capitalists who have
made investments in start-up companies in the financial sector. A link
or some other basic information about these investments would be
appreciated.

It does not matter if these companies are still private or have already
gone public.. or have been acquired.

That is almost like asking how many fish are in Lake Michigan.  The
point being.....since there are hundreds and perhaps thousands that I
know of, perhaps if you could be more specific about the criteria, I
can narrow the list down for you, which will give you a better chance
at funding (if that is what you are seeking).  For instance, are you
looking for VC firms that did early, late, mezzanine stage financing? 
 What is the amount of the investment?  Etc.
