Question ID: 706599
I am looking for a song. I have been looking for the past year but
have had no luck on Google. It is a popular 80s upbeat love song by a
woman. These are the only words/themes i can remember. "I wanna run
down my street" or "i want to smash all the windows down my street".
This is b/c she's so in love and excited. It's kind of a power balad.
Until i forgot the song i'd here it often but now i never here it.
I'm hoping someone will just remember the song b/c i doubt it could be
found in google with my dodgy lyrics i can hardly remember.

power balad sounds like "i just died in your arms tonight' or other
corny eighties love songs but by women eg. 'Joey' 'i feel the earth
move under my feet'

I think the song is called Gottingen Street by Spirit Of The West

slightly different to your assumed lyrics, but similar enough to be correct

I hope so

Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet" has a similar tune, but no windows
breaking. Maybe it would help if you said what the "power ballad"
sounds like (like Bjork? like Jannette Jackson?).
