Why does it seem that there are no Lada Nivas (a Russian made car) for sale in the United States? I've always wanted one, but have no idea of how to buy one in the U.S. Can you help me or explain? Is there some sort of trade problem between Russia and the U.S.? Is there a way for me to get one if there is a problem between the two countries? I live in Santa Barbara, CA 93067. And I NEED A LADA NIVA! haha. I don't need one, but I?m looking to buy a car and the Niva (new or used) is at the top of my list. Thanks for your help. -Mark |

There may be a problem with US specs. If the Lada Nevis just isn't built to meet them, it cannot be sold and registered |
