Dear agausling,

This is not an answer, just a comment. Checking whether Chinese
companies are real or fake is extremely tough; for example, there is
no online database of registered companies.

In this particular case, I could not find enough information about
this company to base an answer upon. But it is very suspicious that
they have left virtually no traces on the Web, except for their own
website and a load of trade offers at the business-to-business website
Alibaba. That is not very much. The only trace that does not originate
from one of these two sources is an entry at "Spain Trade Net",
another business-to-business website:

It is noteworthy that on their website, the company is called
"Shenzhen Yuelisheng Trade Co., Ltd", while the Alibaba entries use
"Shenzhen Yuelisheng Trading Co., Ltd". There seems to be a bit of
confusion about the actual name.

Although there is a certain shadiness surrounding Shenzhen Yuelisheng
Trade Co. Ltd., I should point out that their Web domain was
registered already on 29 March 2004 and will not expire before 29
March 2008. Usually, scammers would not register a domain for four
full years, but only for one year.

page. Not exactly orginal.

Yes, that is "interesting", also that the company says that it has
implemented ISO 14000 environmental management, which seems (to me) to
be rather unrelated to its business.

if one searches using the chinese characters (copy and paste) and
using the chinese search engine like baidu.com, one may find more
info.  e.g. here http://www.job88.com/sc/jobseeker/ViewJobRef1.asp?JobRef=1450621
shows that they are recruiting people (two female u graduates to
handle foriegn trade related stuff).
I feel that they are for real.

I have checked this company on the local government website
(http://www.szaic.gov.cn/). This company is registered with No.
4403012139191. But I cannot find detailed info about this company this
service is not free.

The website indicated that the company has a factory in Shantou (In
the same province of Shenzhen) and I found the Shenzhen location is
just a room in living community rather than in an office building.

And I check the whois of the website, Created: 2004-03-29 Expires: 2008-03-29 

From my background in electronic field and my research on this company
I think this is a right company. But from the name of the company
obviously it is a commercial company that means the products are not
100% made by them, maybe just trade.
