I am looking for a sports script to put into my website were it
updates the scores automatically. Such as basketball, softball etc...
Also a news script that does the same, even it is local news, national
news or international news.

You'll need an RSS reader (a basic on can be found at
http://rssfeedreader.com/) first of all.  Once you have that, simply
search for "____ RSS Feed" and add the feeds you want.  Just FYI, you
won't find one anywhere for just sports scores.  All the major sports
score feeds are scores/news.
