According to the hstorian Robert E. Marx (Shipwrecks of the Americas),
in 1611 a shortage of mercury (for silver processing) in Mexico led to
a small ship being dispatched from Acapulco to Peru to buy mercury. It
met a storm and foundered off the SW point of the entrance to the Gulf
of Fonseca, El Salvador.  How would I find the date of sailing
("zarpe" in Spnaish from the Port of Acapulco, the name of the ship,
captain and what it carried?
